College Bound Seniors - Financial Aid Night

Seniors and families of seniors, please plan to attend the Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30pm to learn about College Financial Aid.  The meeting will be in the JA Commons.

 

Fall Fest is Friday, September 20

National Honor Society is sponsoring Fall Fest, a school-wide carnival event, on Friday, September 20 from 9:15am to 11:30am.  Every student club and organization will sponsor a booth or activity for their peers to participate in. This year’s activities include a temporary tattoo booth, piñata booth, and a rock climbing wall.  To allow your student to participate in the festivities, please have your student(s) turn in the attached permission slip to their homeroom teacher on Friday, September 13th. Fall Fest Waiver

 

Homecoming Tickets

High School Students:  Buy your tickets for Hoco 2019: Casino Night, starting Monday, September 16th before school and at lunch.Tickets are $25, $35 at the door. Homecoming is Saturday, September 21st on the school patio (high school students only).

·         Monday, 9/16- Peach Fuzz Volleyball 3:30pm - All students are welcome to come watch and cheer!

·         Wednesday, 9/18-Powder Puff Football 8:00pm - All students are welcome to come watch and cheer!

·         Thursday, 9/19-Volleyball vs The Academy—C team 4:15pm, JV 5:15pm, Varsity 6:15pm

·         Friday, 9/20-Homecoming Assembly and Fall Fest-School Day ends at 11:30am (Open to all students - Must have signed waiver to participate)

·         Saturday, 9/21-Homecoming Dance at JA 8-11:30pm  (High School Students only)

Children’s Book Drive

The Children’s Book Drive sponsored by Key Club & SLAB runs through next Wednesday, September 18th. Bring in new or gently used children's books to be repaired and sent to "our school library" in Kenya through SCOPE International. HS students who donate 3 or more books will be entered in a drawing for a free homecoming ticket; JH students who donate 3 or more books will receive a Chipotle BOGO card! See Mrs. Buechner or Vincent Pandey with any questions.
