National Honor Society-Adopt a Student

Jefferson Academy's National Honor Society is planning a program called Adopt-a-Student and we would like your students to be a part of it. This school year has had a very strange start, and with many students opting for remote-learning-- most new students haven't really had the chance to get comfortable in the Jefferson Academy community. NHS would like to help with this by giving these new students a mentor in the form of an upperclassmen buddy! We'd like this to start just as pen pals, but eventually chat with them on zoom and do fun activities with them too. An email has been sent to new students inviting them to participate. If you are interested in having your student participate in this, please let us know. Please e mail Mrs. Thimsen at with any questions.
