Save the Date: Paint With Sip

Paint with Sip is on April 4th at 6pm.  JA National Arts Honor Society cordially invites you to their annual Paint with Sip evening.  This year, they hosting this event with a twist.  Come check it out and enjoy an evening exploring your artistic side!  No experience necessary.  Our artists will walk you through it step by step.  Cost is $20 per person.  Register here:  Paint With Sip SignUp!

JA’s supply of Kleenex and paper towels is quickly running out.  If you would like to donate, please send the supplies with your student.  Donations can be left in the office. Thank you!

 

2020 Peru Trip

The Spanish Department is thrilled to announce the 2020 Service and Immersion trip to Peru with EF Educational Tours. High school students are invited to go on a 9-day, all-inclusive trip to explore this amazing country and discover the vast wealth of culture, sites, and cuisine Peru has to offer. There they'll have the unique opportunity to apply their language skills from the classroom in exciting places like a traditional Andean market, the winding streets of Cuzco, and of course at Machu Picchu - one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. An informational meeting will be held on Monday, April 8th at 7pm in the Library. SLAB Presents A #destressJA Event: 

"Camp-out/Read-in" on Monday, April 8th from 3:30-4:30 in the library. Come & eat camping snacks (yes, there will be s'mores...), lay out under the stars with your lantern & READ to relax & READuce your stress before "testing season" begins the next day! Mandatory Meeting For All Graduating Seniors & Their Families

On April 18, 2019 at 7:00pm, please plan on attending to learn about the steps and requirements to participate in the graduation ceremony this year.  All Seniors and at least one parent/guardian must attend this meeting.  You will be given an opportunity to order your Honor cords, pay outstanding fees, receive your graduation tickets, and sign & return your graduation contracts.  Additionally, you will also receive your withdrawal paperwork.  We will be conducting a later meeting for all lacrosse and soccer athletes participating in away games who might arrive late.  If you have questions regarding this night, please email me (hgrantham@jajags.com).
