Athletics Announcement - April 30, 2021

Congratulations to all of our Season C sports!

  • Boys Soccer dealt with a multitude of setbacks all season long and persevered their way into the playoffs.  The accomplishment is even more impressive with the playoff pool being half as large as it usually is.  The Jags got the #15 seed and had to play #2 Liberty Common where they fell 0-1.

  • Girls Volleyball had a long hiatus but were able to come back for the last week where they had to play 6 matches in 8 days.  Coach Adams rallied her team together to win 5 of the 6 and at one point were in position to make the postseason.

  • JH Girls Volleyball did an outstanding job.  The A-team went 7-0 for the unofficial league title and the B-team finished 5-2.  They give the high school team a lot to look forward to.

  • JH Boys Soccer saw most of their season snowed out but were able to finish 2-3-1.

With all of these weather-related changes be sure to bookmark the schedules.

Schedules for Season D.

Don’t forget that all of our home games can be viewed online for free.  All of our games held on the field can be seen at  You do not need a subscription but you will need to create an account.

Many counties have loosened up their COVID protocols in the last couple of weeks.  Restrictions are now determined at the county level rather than the State.  For our spectators at JA home games, masks will be optional as long as you are able to maintain 6-ft distancing and we will still have everyone sign-in at the front gate just in case we ever need to do contact tracing.

Congratulations to Jocelyn Farhar and Gracyn O’Connor for signing their letters of intent to play at the collegiate level.  Jocelyn signed with the College of St. Mary in Nebraska for Cross Country.  Gracyn signed with Soka University of America for Soccer.

If you are interested in getting a letter jacket, Sportline in Arvada is our provider for those.  You can visit their website for more information.
