Athletics Announcement - March 22, 2021

What a rude introduction to spring sports for our fall teams.  Luckily volleyball has been able to get started but we are hoping, with fingers crossed, that we can get our first soccer games in before spring break.

With all of these weather-related changes be sure to bookmark the schedules.

Schedules for Season C.

Don’t forget that all of our home games can be viewed online for free.  All games in the main gym are streamed through  You will need to sign up for an account but the home games are free.  All games in the auxiliary gym can be seen on

With most schools now able to allow a limited number of spectators, please be aware that they are still required by their county and district guidelines to have certain safety and health protocols in place.  While some requirements will vary from school-to-school, you can expect:

  1. You will probably need to wear a mask whenever you are on a school campus.

  2. You will need to observe social distancing unless you are with people from your household.

  3. There will be some type of check in process.  Schools need to have this in place in case contact tracing is necessary and to make sure they are able to stay within capacity limits.

Please be patient and understanding with the people working the games.  They are often volunteers trying to help the games run smoothly and not the ones who put the guidelines in place.

Although it feels like Season C just started (probably because it did just start), it is already time to start looking ahead to Season D.  We will have our parent/athlete registration meeting on April 7th at 7:00 p.m.  It will be on Zoom and that link will be sent out as we get closer to the date.  This will be for both High School and Middle School sports and will cover information about how to register and to make sure you are ready to begin practices.  Coaches will hold their own team meetings at a later date.  Season D sports begin on April 26th with the exception of Girls Golf which begins April 19th.

Our spring Letter of Intent signing day will be on April 14th.  Please let Mr. Melville ( know if you are signing a letter of intent to play your sport at the next level.  We can then coordinate some type of recognition for this outstanding achievement.

Season D preseason workouts are going strong.  If you are interested in any of these high school sports, use the links below to contact the coaches for details.
