Social Studies/Senior Seminar/Journalism

Mr. Thimsen is in his 21st year at Jefferson Academy.  As a long-time member of the J.A. Community, he has served in both the middle school and high school social studies departments.  Currently he teaches Senior Seminar, Western Civilization, A.P. European History and Journalism and also serves as the head track and field coach.  His four kids are all proud graduates of the J.A. system having gone through the school K-12
